Bible passages to read and reflect on this week:
James Chapter 2 (The Key Passage is James 2:15-16)
God loves you. ALL of you. Not just the spiritual parts. He cares about your physical needs as well. The body of Christ should always be about helping one another. At times you will need help. You may feel tempted to say, “It’s okay, thanks anyway, but I’ve got this.” It may be hard for you to accept help. You may feel that you can do it all in your own strength. This may seem strong. It may feel brave. But in actuality, what you’re doing is denying others the opportunity to help you. This robs others (and yourself) of a great blessing. Remember how good it felt last time you extended a helping hand to someone in need? Be sure that you are also allowing God’s people to bless you in your own time of need.
What is the difference between faith with and without works?
Why do you think James says faith without works is dead?
