This is a swap is for all the cinephiles, film freaks, and any stripe of enthusiastic movie fan! Highbrow, lowbrow, no-brow -- all are welcome.

This swap involves writing writing your partner one letter, and making time to watch one movie.

In your letter, please introduce yourself, then write about 5 movies you enjoy. You may use a list format if it keeps you organized, but you are expected to extrapolate on each item with a few sentences. Consider: is it an all-time favorite or something you've enjoyed recently? When did it come out? Who produced it, directed it, started in it? What happens in the plot (no spoilers)? What makes it stand out to you? These are just suggestions, and you can write about all or none as long as you have 4+ sentences for each film.

Then, watch one movie that piques your interest and is new to you. It can be in theaters, streaming, on a DVD you never watched, etc. There are no stipulations other than it being your first time watching it. Add it to your letter and let your partner know what you thought about it! What made you want to watch it? Did it live up to your expectations? Etc.

In total, you will have written a paragraph (or more) each about 6 movies -- 5 favorites, one you've watched for this swap. There are no page length requirements, but please do not write short filler sentences just to get the swap done. You may handwrite or type and do not need to decorate the letter or envelope, though you are more than welcome to do so. Same with tuck-ins -- not required, but go for it as long as your partner's profile specifies that they prefer not to receive them.

I'm hosting this swap internationally and will be somewhat lenient with requirements. Newbies are allowed. Please message me if you have no ratings or something that has gotten you banned from swaps before -- being upfront goes a long way. I angel my swaps, just let me know if it's necessary.
